Question 1

What is SportX for?

Accepted Answer

Running tournaments, managing a federation and operating a club on one platform: registration, draws, scheduling, live scoring and standings.

Question 2

How do I sign in?

Accepted Answer

With your Impetus ID account. SportX has no password of its own: Sign in takes you to Impetus ID and back.

Question 3

Does a referee need an account?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Organisers give referees a username and password for one tournament and one match day. Referees sign in at the bottom of the Sign in page.

Question 4

Who can see my tournament?

Accepted Answer

A new tournament is visible only to people with its link. When it is ready, the organisers make it public so it shows on the home page and in the tournament list.

Question 5

Can one tournament have several sports?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each event belongs to one sport, so a tournament can span several. A tournament played by delegations gets a medal table by delegation.

Question 6

How do results update?

Accepted Answer

Referees score on their phones at the court. The bracket, schedule and standings on the tournament page update point by point.
